Inside the March Tale you will find the Starter Tale which you may choose to read once at the beginning or each day that you are telling your Tales or anything in between. You will also find 12 little prompt cards. You may print them out or use them on your device. Either way you will find many different paths to travel and characters to meet along the way - however many YOU choose!
You may end up picking each of the cards more than once allowing for different things to happen each time or to add on to what you've told before. One of the best things to do if you are just starting out on your journey as storyteller is to focus on details - details of the physical surroundings, such as, objects in your tale, smells in the air, temperature or sounds. And then go from there and enjoy yourself! The children will have many ideas that will surprise and delight you as well :)
As always, let me know if you have any thoughts or questions at all by contacting me here.
Thank you and Happy Storytelling!

Here are just a few questions you may wish to answer as you create your Tales.
What will you name the boy?
What sort of house does he live in?
What does the weather feel like? Are there fluffy clouds in the sky today? Is the sun peeking out creating a million sparkles on the water? Is there a slightly warm breeze bringing thoughts of spring into everyone's mind?
What do the animals around the pond think of the young boy who visits each day?
These are just a few of the questions you may answer while telling your tales with each other. Happy Storytelling!
