Inside the March Tale you will find the starter Tale which you may choose to read once or each day that you are telling your Tales or anything in between. You will also find the 12 story-starter cards. Either way you will find many different roads to travel and characters to meet along the way - however many YOU choose! The cards don't come in any specific order. You may end up picking each of the cards more than once allowing for different things to happen each time or to add on to what you've told before. If you are storytelling for children you may wish to read each card first and put them in the order you'd like to go. Or your creative writing kids can do the same. Some classroom teachers choose just a one creative writing sheet at a time to give the children after reading the Tale aloud to them. One of the best things to do if you are just starting out on your journey as storyteller is to focus on details - details of the physical surroundings, such as, objects in your tale, smells in the air, temperature or sounds. And then go from there and enjoy yourself! The children will have many ideas that will surprise and delight you as well :) Visit the BLOG for more storytelling tips and ideas. As always, let me know if you have any thoughts or questions at all by contacting me here. Thank you and Happy Storytelling!
