Let's join Anka and her friend, the wise old owl as they enter, by riddle, through the gate into the land of spring.
There's so much magic to be found in spring, so many songs to sing, sounds to hear, smells to smell. As you are journeying through this story notice things each time you are outside to bring in to your telling. Here you will find the starter Tale which you may choose to read once or each day that you are telling your Tales or anything in between. You will also find 12 story-starter cards. You will find many different roads to travel and characters to meet along the way - however many YOU choose! |
You may end up picking each of the cards more than once allowing for different things to happen each time or to add on to what you've told before. One of the best things to do if you are just starting out on your journey as storyteller is to focus on details - details of the physical surroundings, such as, objects in your tale, smells in the air, temperature or sounds. And then go from there and enjoy yourself! The children will have many ideas that will surprise and delight you as well :)
As always, let me know if you have any thoughts or questions at all by contacting me here. Thank you and Happy Storytelling! |
